Already there is Coach Station Reunion´s first physical record. Under this name hides, for enough years already, Xavi Rosés's most personal project (Fred I Son, The Epic Kind, Senderos ...). Xavi has never stopped composing and recording in house, small miniatures of delicious softpop, janglepop and all the derivatives that he wants to be added. His first vinyl EP and the second Discos De Kirlain label release contains 5 songs.
It recovers " A matter of time " of a demo previous EP and " El que va dir ", the strangest song of the set, an embrace to the musical legacy of Ralf Hütter, Florian Schneider and Karl Bartos. The record opens with two of Xavi's most recent songs: " Lunch time's at Six " and " I'll find out tomorrow " both precious and beautiful. It is closed by a version of Bob's Banwell Blues No 2 from their colossal album, "Swag Sack" and is used as a way of honoring so many groups that Xavi admires and to which he covers in his setlists (The Field Mice, Jacobites, The June Brides, Prefab Sprout ...). I recommend that you should get accommodated in your sofa to listen to the EP coolly, without thinking about anything more than in trying to discover the details and the images that the same one hides.
It has been worn out, designed and pondered calmly. A privilege for Catalan´s indiepop music that we could not leave in the oblivion. Almost 15 minutes of authentic luxury for this small label.
Tracklist: "I'll Find Out Tomorrow", "Lunch Time's At Six", "A Matter Of Time", "El Que Va Dir" and "Banwell Blues No 2"
